1. What does Blue Compass Charters include in its all-inclusive private catamaran trips?
Each trip includes food, drinks, water toys, snorkeling equipment, and towels. Menu and bar selections may vary depending on the boat
2. Where do Blue Compass Charters depart in Riviera Maya and Cozumel, and what trip durations are available (e.g., 3–8 hours)?
Riviera Maya departures are from Puerto Aventuras Marina.
Cozumel departures are from Marina Fonatur (Marina Asipona).
Trip durations range from 3 to 10 hours — your boat, your schedule.
3. How many guests can Blue Compass Charters accommodate on a private catamaran, and is it suitable for bachelorettes, families and couples?
Our private catamarans can accommodate from 1 to 20 guests, depending on the vessel.
They are perfect for bachelorettes, families, couples, and groups of friends — fully customizable to match your celebration or travel style.

4. What are the deposit, reschedule and weather policies?
We ask for a 20% deposit of the tour value, the balance is due on site, a 5% processing fee applies to all credit card payments. Payments can be made in cash (USD) (MXN) or by credit card at the exchange rate of the day, which will be informed at the time of the transaction.
Cancellations due to weather

Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made exclusively by BLUE COMPASS, advised by our Port Captain (the first official authority on weather safety).

If a tour is canceled due to weather and no alternative date can be agreed upon, BLUE COMPASS will issue a full refund of any deposit paid.

Any change in date, destination, or vessel type requested by the client will be considered a cancellation.

If any scheduled payment is not received by the due date, BLUE COMPASS reserves the right to cancel the charter and retain all deposits and fees paid.

5. How do I book or check availability with Blue Compass Charters (online booking vs WhatsApp)
Online booking is available only for our Riviera Maya catamaran. We recommend submitting the booking form with your preferred date and any special requests or occasions. For faster assistance, you can also contact us via WhatsApp — we’ll confirm availability and handle the entire booking process for you.
6. How much does a private catamaran with Blue Compass cost, and what are the “from” prices by destination and duration?
Pricing varies depending on the catamaran and destination. “From” prices are based on 3-hour trips for small groups of up to 5 guests.
7. Is fishing available in all destinations?
Fishing is only permitted along the coast in the Riviera Maya. It is not available in the other destinations.
